There is something inherently necessary about having a great pair of sunnies that you can base an outfit around. This is certainly the case when it comes to Tom Ford’s ‘Nastasya’ specs. With an air of quality and a cat eye that makes you wanna’ drop it low, I’ve found reflective, gold heaven. As every human knows, you’re either born a goldy or a silver. It’s essentially a genetic component in your creation that occurs in the womb (about week 12 of pregnancy) and dictates what colour of jewellery you will wear for the rest of your life. I myself, am a goldy, a blingy/grandma gold wearing independent, single woman. And while I have tried to be a boho goddess, who adorns every finger with delicate silver rings, my heart/soul/body opposes it. Furthermore, Mother Nature opposes it. You just can’t swap. So while it took most of puberty to come to this, I have finally come to accept and love wearing gold. With this astounding revelation, I have stocked up on some amazing gold pieces, one of my favourites being my ‘Nastasyas’.

These shades have a beautiful gold frame, comfortable (not so tight they give you headaches or loose enough to slip off and run away) and frankly are the bomb. For those silver wearers out there, do not fret, Tom Ford doesn’t discriminate and has made a silver version! What a wonderful, wonderful man, thankyou Mr Ford, thankyou.
